~94%
Preliminary well-to-wake GHG reduction for the 9m commercial craft versus an equivalent diesel operating profile.
Environment
Well-to-wake, including emissions from electricity generation. Preliminary figures for the 9m commercial craft, to be validated in demonstration.

~2,589 tCO₂e
Potential saving across twelve 9m vessels during the three-year demonstration.
Methodology
Assessed well-to-wake — including emissions from electricity generation — rather than presenting the vessel as zero-lifecycle simply because it has no exhaust. A conventional-vessel baseline is established from evidenced operating data, and forecasts are validated against measured operational performance throughout demonstration.

2030
≥30% reduction vs 2008 levels
2040
≥80% reduction vs 2008 levels
2050
Zero fuel-lifecycle GHG emissions
Also eliminates tank-to-wake NOx, SOx and particulate emissions, and reduces engine noise and vibration — particularly valuable around ports, quays and coastal communities.
The 9m platform is specified around this duty, not around a tank-to-wake claim. Talk to us about the operating profile you actually run.
