Offshore wind

Designing the crew transfer vessel around the operator

Offshore wind does not need another hull drawn from a leisure line and labelled ‘commercial’. Crew transfer is a people problem first: boarding, sightlines, weather, and the minutes that sit between a quay and a turbine.

Our 10–12 metre concept is deliberately compact. Not every movement on the coast needs a 24-metre CTV. Some operators need a quiet, electric boat that can move a small team, sit in a harbour, and charge overnight without making a scene.

Designing around the operator means starting with questions, not a spec sheet: How many people? Which waters? What is the real weather limit? Where does the boat sleep? What does a failed charge do to the next day’s work?

That conversation is the start of the specification. The vessel comes after.
